I had to stay strong, I thought as I sat facing the doctor in front of me, staring at the ground. My Mom was next to me, crying on to my Dad's shoulder, as he stared blankly at the wall. I didn't hear the doctor as he talked, his words slurring and dancing through one ear and out the other. I didn't care what he had to say. All I knew was that I was going to die, and that was it.
