Jessaka Bluehill is a young, enthusiastic hobbit who loves to roam the countryside with her mischievous friends: Merry and Pippin. Pulled into one dastardly scheme after another, Jessa spends most of her days laughing under an old oak tree after her latest prank. So when she is dragged into a conspiracy to stop Frodo from dissapearing like his uncle, she puts her pranks aside for the moment. But one thing leads to another, and Jessa finds herself in Rivendell, joining the Fellowship to protect Frodo. But Jessa finds it hard to focus as she is constantly drawn to Pippin. Will her feelings lead her astray? Or will Jessa overcome the desolation and be able to laugh one more time with Pippin?
