My heart clenches recalling the image as I struggle to keep the tears behind my lashes. Why am I crying? This is stupid.
"Aria, I already admitted we kissed but SHE kissed ME. And it meant absolutely nothing. I pushed her away and if you had stayed around, you would've seen her slap me."
His voice is pleading but I'm too busy thinking about how Sam smiled when she saw me standing with the two coffees in my hands in front of them.

James asks, pushing his hair out of his eyes.
