Kree Newman never had a stable home life, especially with a father who makes her run from people who wants their money back at any cost. Having to grow up quick and trying to help her father out, Kree makes the best of her situation. Sadly it all back fires when she is ditched in a diner hours before her 18th birthday in South Carolina while her dad makes his way to Miami with the money she inherited from a distant relative. Left heart broken and alone, she is taken in by the elder owner of the diner and a new life begins for her. Five years later, Kree has built up a life that she is proud of. She runs her own antique shop, has her own house, and is finding new love. But when old faces come back into her life that threatens everything she has ever worked hard for, will she be able to handle it? Connor Wilkins has finally come back home from being in the military for ten years with his best friend Jamie. Coming home he didn't expect to fall head over heels for Kree, someone who he has only heard about, but never actually met until now. The two grow closer and things are going well, but when people from Kree's past show up; Conner with do everything possible to protect the woman who has stolen his heart.
