Detective Kate Beckett rolls up to a crime scene. This one is a little sad, as the victim is a child, but she doesn't find it too strange. That is until a speeding Ferrari pulls up  as well. She is surprised to see one of her favorite mystery writers, Richard Castle, is the driver of the cherry red vehicle. He jumps out and runs to her.  
"What happened to her? Is my daughter dead?!"
Detective Javier Esposito comes up behind Beckett, too focused on the school ID in his hands to see the wreck of a famous novelist in from of him.
