Ever since then he always acted normal infront of hinata so that he wouldn't ruin his friend ship with him until coup,e weeks later he started feeling ill to the point he ended up in hospital finding out he had a disease that could end up with horrible consequences (death) he could ether confess to his love and hope his crush liked him back to be cured or have surgery and never love again. He didn't want to get surgery and never love again so he lived his last month with shoyo living life to the fullest.
