It's 2019. The city you're living in is completely homogenized. It's a plain of Utopian uniformity, a metropolis of very few risks but even fewer rewards. You're safe, but you're bored, too. There's no danger anymore, but there's no daring either. Fear has been eradicated, but so has freedom. And at the head of this tedious existence is Better Living Industries, an oxymoron if there ever was one: a promise of a better life, yet only within strictly-defined parameters. So if you're looking for thrills and chaos and excitement and unpredictability... well, this isn't place for you.
Outside of the city, though, there's something different. It's wild and untamed. A resistance, led by a gang of feckless outlaws known as the 'Fabulous Killjoys': Party Poison, Jet Star, Fun Ghoul and Kobra Kid. Most of their rebellion is contained to subversive radio transmissions - crackling missives which spread messages of hope, defiance, love and - most crucially - having fun with the help of pirate DJ Dr. Death Defying. Hitching your wagon to these guys is probably your best chance of escape.
Can the Killjoys escape the boring, monotonous life of safety, or are they willing to risk their lives for a thrill?

Whether that means providing jobs, providing medication, or providing a team of specially-trained superheroes to watch over you, rest assured that Better Living Industries has your best interests at heart. That's what they tell everyone, anyway, but you don't have to look very far to see the truth behind the lies. BL/ind's army of "superheroes" is just as corrupt as the rest of the company. Party Poison and Kobra Kid managed to get out of the city before BL/ind could be made aware of their powers, before they could be forced to join the superheroes in their torment of civilians. Fun Ghoul was taken from the city before he could even make a choice one way or the other. And Jet Star? Well, Jet Star wasn't so lucky.Terminé

(Art isn't mine!!) One firefight gone wrong. That's all it takes for someone's life to fall apart, right in front of them. And it happens to everyone eventually, they don't dodge in time, don't hear the drac sneaking up behind them. But they all find peace with the Witch. But Fun Ghoul-- he wasn't dead. Not physically, anyways. He was taken. And Party Poison, having the savior complex they do, can't help but try to save them. Which went about as great as you'd expect considering they went alone. I wrote this as an outlet and a while ago but it's been heavily updated since. I was in a bad headspace when I originally wrote this and it wasn't good whatsoever. Not saying it is now, but I made adjustments YEARS later and also posted this to AO3. Description: This is Killjoy oc (cover pic) story basically. It's 2500 and the world is still suffering from the disastrous effects of World War 3. Plague, the result of the recent biochemical war, sweeps across Eurasia, leaving millions dead in its wake. Even the best scientists in Europe are powerless against it. The main reason for the general misery is this. Europe is now under the tyrannical rule of the Democratic Republic of America, and this has wreaked havoc upon the streets of Europe. Poverty, starvation and disease now fill even the greatest of Europe's cities. They hold a cautious peace treaty with the Oceanic Union, but of course, this doesn't come without a price. However, for Europe at least, there is a glimmer of hope. For the growing resistance has finally managed to recruit the greatest criminals of the 26th century to spark the beginning of the greatest rebellion in human history. Unfortunately for them, the 'greatest criminals of the 26th century' are teenagers. And even in this day and age, teenagers still bring their insecurities and petty rivalries with them, wherever they go. So, this is the question: can this team of misfit criminals bring a golden age of peace? Or will they set the world on fire for the fourth time?Terminé

The fires of 2012 started it all. Millions of Lives destroyed, and it was all part of Better Living Industries plan. It is now 2019 and their headquarters have grown stronger in Battery City, California. A place where everyone is on happy pills. They feel no emotion and cannot express themselves, and anyone who disobeys the rules will be exterminated by Korse the S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W unit and his Draculoids. But, there are a group of rebels, who call themselves the Killjoys, led by Party Poison, who would rather have a hard life in the desert zones than an easy one while being brainwashed. They have only one hope, who is Missle Kid, who has been on the run from Korse because he knows what she is capable of, who the killjoys will protect with their lives and no one else's so they can save Libes and go back to a normal one......but then Toxic Kitten comes in the picture.Terminé
