Not all stories are happy. They told me to make a happy story, but this is my story and I will write it the way I want. I just want to make this clear, my name is Serena, I got into a horrible car accident that killed my mom, my little brother, and my dog. The accident severely damaged my hearing and now I'm deaf. I'm left with my dad and baby twin sisters. We get kicked out of are house and the family falls apart. Be grateful with what you have before it's too late.

Well, what would have made me leave my one month daughter in front of the orphanage door , as her mother what pushed me to the extent of leaving her,not being there to see her first sit,crawl,walk ,hear her say her first words hoping it would be related to me, hear her call out to me when she cried, stay up at night with her singing some lullaby,read her some stories, tell her that there was a prince charming who would love her as her father loved me but where was I , staying far away from her, God knows how terrible a mother I was leaving her without even looking back. “ I have been nothing but good to you for the past two years!” I yell into my cell phone. I knew I shouldn’t be driving so fast in such weather and it being a deserted road didn’t help. I look down to see that I’m going 50 miles per hour on a 25 miles per hour road. But before I could do anything about the speed, I see that dark figure that changes my life forever. It was standing in the middle of the road, facing my car not looking like it’s going to move. Not wanting to hit it I swirl out of the way but lose control on the slippery road. The "Please..." I hear her whimper and I go into full panic mode. "Calm down, okay? Deep breaths. Don't hang up. I'll be with you soon. Where are you?" I rush as I grab the car key sitting on the glass table. I run into the garage with my dad behind me. "What do you need?" Dad asks "A room. A big one." He runs back inside as I hear her voice again. "Basement...blood...Elle..." I hear sounds of movement in the background and connect the dots. Elle's bleeding, or something... "Deep breaths baby, deep breaths. It's okay, you're okay" I murmur reassuring words to her, thankful that there's no traffic. Several thoughts run through my mind as I drove to her house. The last time we spoke, she could barely stand me, but now she's calling me. I feel kinda used, but now's not the time to think about that. I reach her house in a matter of minutes and shove the door open. The house is quiet, save for my heavy breathing and footsteps. I reach the basement and take in the sight in front of me.
