When a large group of children find themselves stranded in the middle of nowhere, different things can happen. But when the children find a mysterious portal in the middle of the mountains, they enter a land filled with adventure, dwarves and magic.

Major themes in the Book include Adventure and Romance. This book is best suited for 12 - 15 year olds but I'm sure anyone older can get interested in the book.
This is the First book in the "Mysterious Mountains Trilogy". It was written and finished in 2013 by Tom Burda, at age 13.
