It is the year 1965 in Japan where a village filled with mysterious villagers, kept hidden within a dense forest. Secluded away from neighboring villages whom had never even heard of this well kept and lost village, shadowed by tress and bushes. This is Shiryo Village, a sacred village which is off the map, unknown to any being except for those who live within it's walls. It is unknown as to why Shiryo Village was so isolated from it's neighboring villages, perhaps because the villagers were hesitant to trust other villages or maybe they believed that if they weren't communicating with any other village, they would be safe in case a war struck out.

Fast Forward to the year 2049,an elder woman of eighty-four recites a story to her grandchildren. Her name is Nana Yamaguchi and she tells the story of the mysterious village of Shiryo, one which she is unsure whether it had happened to her or not.

"She's right! She's right! I don't cut in the right spot." My hold tightens on my wrist. The red blood oozes out of my wrist. I slide up and grab my bag and run out of the bathroom. I don't care if people can see the blood I just want to get out. I race for the doors and shove through people. I earn a lot of glares and glances that read "weirdo." I ignore and push. I run to my house and lock myself in my bathroom. I don't bother closing the front door cause I don't care if people come in to kill me. I grab my razor and cut deep cuts into my arm and wrists falling into a pool of my own blood. • • • Evangeline has a great life. Friends? Check! Good grades? Check! Loving family? Check! Don't say I didn't warn you. Okay, I wrote this at the start of this year (may 2016) and I had very poor writing skills. This book hasn't been edited and the whole idea is cliche so I wouldn't recommend you read it but I'm not stopping you, either. Read at your own risk. • • • Copyright © 2017 by -moonlust. I know, another stupid story idea, but I think this one is an alright one. _______________________________________________ Being a fan of the Neptunia series after watching Lost Pause play the first two games I've read a lot of Hyperdimension Neptunia stories, because it's fun seeing how people can take characters like Neptune and put them in really entertaining scenarios that the games haven't yet. One thing I noticed about the more serious stories is that when it involves someone from Earth suddenly in Gamindustri, they move on from the fact they can't see their friends and family again. Some do but they usually move on quickly. Mainly because they don't have anything tying them to their old home. What if someone was in that same position, only he is completely shattered by the idea that he won't see his friends and family again? What if he couldn't just quickly move on from that and is too scared to get close to anyone now? Think about it, if you were currently ripped from this world and shoved into the next without your consent or knowledge you'd be destroyed by the fact that you're never going back home. _______________________________________________ Neptune, the protagonist of protagonists, finds a young, unconscious guy in a forest when she actually decided to work for once. She takes him to her home, telling her CPU friends about it they fly over to her to see if she was joking or not and finds it's legit. When he wakes up they find out he's not from this world, and he's not taking it very well.

Elodie's life changes at the turn of a doorknob when she is forced into joining a secret organization that claims to be protecting the Earth from aliens. But with every step she takes, she finds the organization, or the facility, as they call it, becoming more and more suspicious. When a mysterious death occurs, revealing a well-concealed secret, things quickly go downhill as humanity's future is placed on the shoulders of a single gaggle of teenagers. *** I hear a sigh from the other side of the door, "Miss. Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. So, call me stupid, but I sit down. "I am from a space organization that protects civilians from . . . outside threats." *** Beautiful cover made by @mahana258! The Galanis family is stricken with grief when the youngest son 'Aaron Galanis' finds a strange board in his recently deceased grandmothers belongings. Grandma Galanis was strange the last year before her passing. She would be found talking to the walls, walking around the yard at night, and claiming that a fat man was coming to feed her to his hungry wife. The man's name was Baba Hoogie. Thinking their grandma was mentally unwell and suffering from dementia they ignore her, but she told her grandchildren never to dabble with spiritual tools, and that when she dies they were to burn the Ouija Board, but above all else she was never too open the box with the board in it, for it was a gateway to the other side. When the grandmother passed away, Aaron heard that he could talk to his grandmother online through a Ouija Board, but soon he regrets his actions. At first it seemed like his grandmother until he saw the spirits true form. It was the Baba Hoogie!
