Hailey is 15. She likes books. She likes endless expanses of forest. She likes freedom. But He. He who is the opposite of freedom. He who cannot be blocked out by a book. He who holds her by invisible chains and tells her that she must stay and stare at the forest and never touch it, can never reach it. He is always there. And the things that remind her of He, are everywhere, desperately trying to get to her and break her. And that fear has put her where she stands, never to come out. Now every man, who stands in a body so similar to He. And every woman with hair, like He, and eyes like He. And every building like the ones she watched He drive away towards as she stayed tied in that house, waiting for He to return. It scares her. They are all He. So when Hailey meets someone so similar, yet so dissimilar to He, she can't understand what to do. And as the person begins to talk, her mind, isn't suddenly entirely overwhelmed, like usual. Perhaps, he is not, like He. Perhaps there are people that aren't like how she imagined them. And perhaps, she will see that the world isn't how she had seen it before. Perhaps, there is a world where He is gone. Perhaps.

"It's a good thing you guys don't ask any questions." I look down at the young boy who spoke, who's hands are tied tightly together. Twelve, thirteen at the most, I'm guessing. He walks into the forest with two adults, one male, and one female. I smirk down at them from my tree as I slowly climb onto a nearby branch of another tree. I leap across the branches, from tree to tree, as I make my way towards where I know the boys will be waiting. ******************************* Liz Murphy is not a normal girl, with her sparkling brown eyes, and her long pitch black hair. Abandoned by her parents at twelve years old, she's learned to live on her own. She had grown up in the Enchanted Forest until she found a magic bean at fourteen. She went to the most magical place she could think of. Neverland. Although it's not all that special, she has grown to love it. Her short encounters with the boys were straight to the point. She stays on her small side of the island, they stay on theirs. She listened for the first year, but got used to breaking the rules after she got used to the island. She hasn't gotten to get to know Pan, mostly because he probably hates her guts (or so she thinks). Now of course the time they grow close will be on behalf of the Truest Believer. Because this girl won't miss a chance for action. *************** Go to @doctorwholovertardis for another character's point of view. Pan Never Fails: Wolf.
