The Death Hunt

Jessamy Kyliers lives with her "stepfather" who isn't actually her stepfather. He's a man that has been placed to care for Jessamy in her tipsy turvy world where nothing makes any sense. Her mother is someone that she likes to think she knows about, but in all reality, she knows nothing of her. She is just a woman who disappeared when Jessamy was three.
Jessamy hunts thing that the natural, and human, eye cannot see. Demons, ghosts, anything entirely unnatural and she's the one to hunt it down and kill it. But things become complicated when a new guy in town, threatens to mess with her hunting. When something appears that neither of the two are able to handle on their own, they decide to team up to take it down together.
