Kate Reynolds, a scatter brained artist, has just dropped out of Stanford University at age 25, and has moved to London, England, trying to find herself and discover her purpose in life through her paintings. Tom Hiddleston, an up and coming actor, is minding his own business when he encounters Kate on a bench near a pond, astounded by her beauty and witty banter.
Tom soon discovers that the wild-haired girl he met by the pond is also the featured photographer for his next photoshoot and finds himself falling quickly for her carefree heart. And while reluctant to trust her feelings for Tom, Kate begins to fall for him as well. But, after a terrible event happens to the happy couple, tensions arise and stimulate a destructive chain of events that ends with the couple going their separate ways for their own sanity.
