Summer vacation has just started and Grace Risbin's mother has been offered an enormous job as a zoo keeper in Sydney, Australia. Grace is disappointed to be leaving her hometown of New York, New York but is excited to help her mother with the animals. She has always wanted a dog but their apartment complex could never hold one. While walking on the beach, a puppy washes up covered in seaweed. She rescues the puppy and takes it home but something strange happens when her mother lets Grace keep it. With a dark secret trailing her boyfriend, new friends who may have something to do with this, and a confused heart, has this dog been Saving Grace?
