Newt has always been scared of falling in love. In Fact he was anti love his whole life. He had a hard time saying 'I love you' to anyone. Even his own family- and he had no idea why. Maybe it was the lack of love shown in his family? Who knows. That was until he fell in love. He fell in love with a boy. He fell in love with someone he had just met. And my god, Newt was petrified by the whole idea. Back in South London he lived with his mother, father, and younger sister Sonya. Ofcourse, That was until his parents got a divorce. Newt and Sonya were sick of living in London, so they moved in with their Grandparents who lived in a small town in Colorado. It was their cheapest option overall. Over the summer Newt decided to get a job at a Café and one day a boy named Thomas comes in with his group of friends and becomes regulars- and becomes friends over the last month of the summer. Since it's a small town, they end up going to the same school. And that, Newt's regular customer Thomas was the one he fell in love with.

*Points at Gally* I LOVE HIM, YOUR HONOR! Gally does NOT get enough love, I stg, SMH. Plot: The first girl wasn't Theresa, it was me. I came up in the box, injured, with no memory, a necklace I don't recognize, and no trust for any of the boys around me. Except him. A Gally ship-fanfic. I try to blend both the books and the movies together, so it does follow the plot, but that isn't till waaaaaay later. This will all be one book. **Character notes: Gally- If you look up the WICKED files on Gally, it says he has Alpha tendencies, but I like movie Gally better, so that's how he'll be acting. There might be some dom. instances here and there, but they won't make up 100% of his personality. Newt- I AM A NEWTMAS SHIPPER, *FUCK YOU THERESA* But for plot, he has an attraction for the MC. It's been two years since Newt first woke up to the Glade and, since Alby and he managed to enforce a number of rules to stop anarchy among all the other boys, nothing has changed much. Every month means the arrival of a new boy to the Glade and four weeks more without finding a way out of the Maze, and every month Newt grows more hopeless about his future. Until Thomas. Thomas, with whom Newt shares confusing visions about their past every time their eyes meet-and who turns out to be the first of several factors leading to a brutal change in the Maze's rules.
