There's no cheesy romance story here. What happened between Kaya and Harry was nothing but pain and tragedy in one big misconception of love. To say Kaya is far from the average girl is an understatement. She's not super thin, she doesn't have long gorgeous flowing hair, there isn't anything special to her appearance. The war going on in her mind is never ending, and the battles she faces in reality are not much better. So when she has nothing and nobody to turn to, what will she do? Harry Styles on the other hand is the classic rich kid. He gets whatever he wants yet still resents his parents and he believes he is misunderstood. The lead singer of his local band, Nymphonic, is the only one who sees the pain and distress in Kaya's eyes and is determined to save her from her monsters inside. Maybe a few of Harry's will be saved as well?
