Just when senior student Nick Robinson was weeks away from graduating and leaving those 4 years of hell away, a hook up with the principal's daughter led to a new kind of Detention: to help and decorate the Prom, something he swore never to go to. During weeks of "detention", he meets Liz. Someone he'll soon call a friend, and maybe more than that. A lover, and a savior, perhaps. Through her, he tries to find a passion he thought was long gone. But young love is always forbidden, especially by Liz's mother. Will little rendezvous be enough? or will Nick risk losing again to be able to find himself and love?

Some people are lucky and have the most perfect lives, but some of us are like Elizabeth "Liz" Meyers. She's been dealing with school, the lost of her mother, and her abusive dad too long. All Liz wanted was to get a chance to start over. Everyday she wish she could, but that was just a wish that wouldn't be granted. But the day finally comes and she can leave her father. After a turn of events Liz finds herself moving in with the new kid in school that no one can stop talking about and his family. As much as she fights it, she falls for him. She starts believing that her past is now tucked away and she can move forward with her life. But just as things seem to be going right someone from her past makes their way back into her life. Liz soon realizes she will have to make a choice. Will she choose her past or her present? Whatever she chooses, it will change her life forever. This has to be the hardest things Liz has ever had to do... Edited by: Meaganwinnie
