To everyone else, they were Eleonora and Theodore Reed. To each other, they were Nora and Theo.
Eleonora grew up in a loving household, with a few too many nosey siblings, and a pair of slightly insane, but busy parents. She was never the outgoing type, much rather choosing to curl up in a blanket, reading a good book then go out and hang out with friends.
Theodore was a bit different. He grew up in a slightly different atmosphere, mainly surrounded by his grandpa and his best friend. He wasn't the bad boy type, nor was he the athletic type. Theodore was just Theodore, a slightly awkward boy who had his own moments of weakness.

"Want to know why I call you Nora?" he asks while looking into my slightly curious eyes.
"Sure," I said, because he really was the only one who called me that.
"It's because Nora means light, and you are my light at the end of the day, the only person who keeps me waking up each day. Without you Nora, all I see is darkness."

"That's not something you mess around with." I say to her and she just rolled her eyes. "It's not like he's going to fall for it anyway." She looked at her baby pink nails. "Then why do you-" "Because," She snapped looking away from her nails to me. "He needs to know how it feels to fall in love and then have your heart ripped out of your chest and just feel like you're dying inside." She clenched her fingers into a fist. "Plus you don't believe in love anyway so it should be a piece of cake to keep your end unattached." "Yeah whatever." Monica Roth wasn't exactly the new girl but she wasn't exactly popular either. Her best friend Destiny Hamilton was a cheerleader but wasn't exactly in on the it crowd. They both seemed to keep to each other until one day the head cheerleader Madison Valentine comes up to Monica asking her a favor. A favor to play a game with the school's newest hottie. Derek Reid. Derek used to believe in love, it's what he lived and breathe for. Until he watched his mother become a slut because of it. The one thing he thought was so beautiful and the cure all to mans problems no longer exist. He became cold and heartless to anyone who didn't deem themselves worthy in his eyes. He played games with girls hearts, cause them to fall in love and literally break their hearts when he doesn't return the affection. He's just that type of guy. What makes Monica stand out from anyone else was the fact she's never been in love. She didn't believe in it, her parents never fell in love. She lives with her mom during the week and her father every now and then. It just something she's never witnessed so she didn't believe in it, to her it was just a myth. So when she gets asked to play the game of love with Derek she literally can't say no.

Will Liyah find their arrogance too much? Or will she simply continue on like nothing happened?

"Okay, you know what? You're such a jackass and I never should have kissed you," I say. Colton stands up. His green eyes are just as angry as mine are. "Then why did you?" he asks. "I don't know!" I yell. "Why did you kiss me back?" "Hey, you kissed me," Colton says. "We already established that! God! It's like talking to a wall. Whatever I say just fucking bounces right off of you!" I yell. "Do you have any idea how maddening you are?" Colton looks at me. "You don't think you're infuriating?" Colton asks. I narrow my eyes. He starts to walk towards the door. I grab the M&M's and chuck them at Colton. He whips around, his eyes blazing green. "Where the fuck are you going? We're talking!" I yell, crossing my arms. He rubs the back of his neck where the M&M's hit him. "You wanna talk? Fine. Let's talk," Colton says. "You're obviously messed up from all of the shit your mom did." "Maybe I am! It's not your fucking business!" I pause. "Why do you even care? You're just some manwhore, right? A fuckboy?" Colton laughs dryly. "Is that what you think I am?" he asks. He takes a step closer to me. I'm two seconds away from kissing him again. Andy Reed-Collins has never fit in. With both of her parents being doctors, she's grown up in the hospital and has more friends there than she does at her high school. She's made it through most of her Senior year when she meets Colton Samson. Colton's bad for for her in every way. He's a nortorious manwhore who uses girls. But, when they become Biology partners, everything changes for Andy. As she spends more time with Colton, she can't deny their growing attraction to each other. The harder she tries to resist it, the more she's drawn to him. With his endlessly green eyes and knowing smirk, Colton sees through all of her walls. "Theo. If I'm not mistaken? Isn't this yours?" He extended a hand, holding my penguin printed handkerchief. My eyes couldn't have gotten so wide. I quickly swiped it out of his grasp.
