Boots is about a girl called Macy who was having the trip of her lifetime until her family had past away two days ago when there was some turbulence and crashed on a deserted island. Macy then came to a tree house where she found some fruit and a bucket of water. Macy accidentally knocked a switch and some boots appeared on a table. Although they looked old, they held a very special power.

The Madrigal's are a famed family that reside within Encanto. They were given a gift, a miracle, and that miracle is passed down through many generations. Their purpose is to serve, help, and protect the citizens of their village. Abuela Alma is the matriarch of the household. Her husband, Abuelo Pedro, sacrificed himself to give her the miracle. This left Abuela to raise 3 beautiful children and lead a village. When these three children turned five, it was their turn to receive the miracle.
