So when their multi-elemental daughter burns down an entire High school it isn't exactly good publicity for there multi billion dollar company. So what do you do? Obviously send her of to E.A.M.
There are 4 types of elementals, Earth, Fire, Water and Air. Most only claim one, but Alex Winters was given the so called 'gift' of all four. Having people constantly trying to assassinate her isn't exactly a gift in her eyes.
So she's sent into witness protection with a new name, new hair new identity. Sent into the E.A.M (aka Elemental Anger Management. ) Since burning down an entire High School is considered irrational.
She was given strict orders; stay out of trouble. Keep any unnecessary attention of her. Well that went out the door when Alex tried to burn the 'bad boy' of E.A.M to a crisp.
Deciding that he is nothing but trouble for her fire abilities she wants nothing more then to stay away from him. Easy? No. Considering they are forced to be training partners. Well this can only end in one thing: Love.

Elemental magic is based upon the four core elements - Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Elemental magic is most prominent in England, where many mages gather to learn and research elemental magic. However, during the early 1500's, the Fire Outbreaks happened. Several various fire mages suddenly swept through and destroyed the smaller cities of England, killing many in their way and leaving no survivors. The Council of Magic was later changed to the Triumvirate in the 1540's, and from then on are set on killing off every last fire mage. The academy is where many young, prominent mages attend to improve their use of magic, and eventually become a magical knight.
