Darcy Jackson, a nineteen year old blonde barbie who is used to getting everything she wants is now faced with the reality of real world problems ever since her parents lost their money and are faced with bankruptcy. Not only is her home life now horrible, but as she ventures on in the story, you learn more about the problems she's struggled with ever since day one of her life. She experiences emotional outbursts, suicidal thoughts and attempts which then lead her to be checked into a mental institution. That isn't her only new problem though. A new boy is brought into the institution, Declan, and soon a romance forms between the two, but is it worth it? She know's Declan is mental, but how far crazy has he gone? How much more does he have to go?
