August Rhodes just used to be a bartender who took care of her alcoholic father and boyfriend. Although, all of that changes after her dad passes away. She drops her beau of 5 years, moves into a new apartment with an ambitious journalist, and begins to put her artwork out into the world. When she meets Max, the elusive asshole on the bus, it's unclear which direction she'll go in next.
Will she be able to forget the life she used to live? Or is she doomed to have it follow her everywhere that she goes?
