Katte je osamelé dievča, ktorá bola vo veľa školách kde zažívala každonennú šikanu a utrpenie. Nikde si nevedela nájsť kamarátov a preto z toho bola veľmi sklamaná a smutná. Preto bola veľmi pesimistická. Rozhodla sa že si ešte skúsi nájsť kamarátov v novej škole. Nastúpila na strednú s dúfaním a túžbou, že si nájde niejakých kamarátov, nemyslela si že to výde, ale jej rodičia ju prehovorili. Keď začne chodiď do školy, bude si myslieť, že je znovu vo svojom svete kde je vesmír a celý svet proti nej. Neskôr sa jej budú vrácať spomienky z jej života. Spomienky na to všetko utrpenie a šikanu a všetkú tú minulosť, ale jej život zmení chlapec Thomas, ktorý sa do nej zamiluje a zmení jej názor na svet.

After the 3 weeks orientation program of the NYSC, I was posted to a secondary school at Oyan for the one year service. I was given a room on the school compound at the Corpers' quarters.
