The NYC Girls Skate Club consists of worshippers decked in colorful knee-highs and snapbacks. Some hear the voice of god in the clink of their skateboards on the handrails. Others call the turning of the half-pipe their Eden. But all of them have found home in the concrete. So if the NYC Department of City Planning wants war, that's what they'll get. Only they better come prepared, because it'll take a lot more than machines to knock these girls out of their urban jungle.
