Mike never thought that he'd survive it all. At first it was the electricity, which flashed away in seconds, cursing the world with darkness. Then came the floods. And finally there was the earthquakes, which had wiped out at least a quarter of the population, though they had been predicted long before the power went out.
But a good half survived, including Mike. Society has crumbled to the point where almost no sort of authority remains.
Except for a power hungry president, with no intention of actually helping the post apocalyptic world. It never concerned Mike really. Until the day is father was assassinated by the President Lurid. It was then that he realized something had to be done. Anything at all.
It would take more people.

People panicked and tried to survive for as long as they could. Some made it out of cities the others stayed. Our government fell and militias took control. The Monroe militia took over. Then one day he found electricity again. He used it for bad and soon conquered the whole world. Years later our world now runs on electricity again. The Monroe militia is still in power and they force teens to go into an academy to train as merciless killers. This is where I go.
