Killian Jones, better known as Captain Hook, has always wanted one thing. Vengeance. Vengeance against the beast who took his true love. Throughout his journey, he stumbles upon a helpless mermaid. He helps her, however not because his heart tells him to, merely because she was in the way. In order for her to heal the wound that was created by Hook's ship, she has to stay out of the water and on her feet for a while before returning to the ocean. Hook informs her she can stay but only if she was to care for his basic needs and stay out of his way. Nothing was coming between him getting his revenge against the crocodile. Not even love.
