Krystal Ann Gilbert is the twin of Elena Gilbert, Krystal is the black sheep of the family. Unlike her twin Krystal was always wild and rebellious, always getting in trouble in school etc. She was constantly undermined and scolded for not being more respectful to her elders, she was put in her twins shadow, and constantly compared to Elena. When she turned 15 she was fed up with being in her sisters shadow so she left for the summer and when she returned she had a new look, a new attitude, and new intolerance for being compared to her sister. So what happens when a certain family of 2 come to Mystic falls after her parents accident.
