"My name is Katrina, call me Kat." Kat is a 16 year old 'It is what it is.' kind of girl, she has a lovely boyfriend, Daniel. She also has a few friends; Adelaide, Sammy, Ethan, & Christian. She has a few enemies; Grace & her plastic posse. She's the average teen, and her life SEEMS pretty normal, except she's in foster care because her parents were brutally murdered a year ago. They never found any traces of the murderer. Kat has glitches here and there; seeing, hearing, and feeling things that are not there. She also has black outs, and dreams about strange things. Sometimes she even thinks she was the one who murdered her own parents. When she returns to San Diego to visit her siblings, her life turns into a rollercoaster. Bouncing between her boyfriend and her ex-love, her parents death, and figuring out the difference between friends and enemies, her life becomes pretty hectic.

Modern Day AU/OOC: Katniss is a mute girl desperate to die. Peeta is a cancer patient desperate to live. Their lives are on the opposite sides of the spectrum. When Katniss joins a website called The Reaping, which gives her 23 days to live before she must finally take her life, she thinks she is ready for death. With many botched attempts in her trail, she is determined not to mess up this last time. Those 23 days, however, were going to shift her entire world around. She meets Peeta, a boy who'd relapsed so many times but still had hope for a better tomorrow. His ability to laugh and smile despite his condition fascinates Katniss and the more they interact, the more weary she becomes of the prospect of dying. Can she learn the sanctity of life before the 23 days are up? Peeta has no choice. But Katniss does.

Her brothers were left to take care of her and keep a roof over their heads. Everyday they struggle to take care of Abigail, while working to keep them in their home. Life for them is hard. Life for Abigail is even harder. She has a dark mind and not by choice. Somewhere along the way she's developed these feelings of loneliness and hopelessness. Everyday is a struggle for her and just getting out of bed is a success. She meets Zach, a bad boy with a bad reputation. He starts off as a tutor, just to help her out, out of pity. But eventually feelings get involved and Abigail finds herself liking a boy for the first time in her life. Things get serious and she somehow learns about his drug dealing business. Everything gets hectic and Abigail doesn't know what to do with her life anymore. Or if she even wants to live.

a girl who's been bullied since 5th grade her name is Anna. she met her best friends in 6th grade and is in highschool and is still friends with them until they move to hawaii. Anna becomes depressed and tries to slit her wrists until someone stops her. she didn't know who he was and he stopped her for no reason they become good friends and Anna isn't so depressed anymore. she likes him does he like her back?

She reads through her old journal, she remember her journey and how she got to point she is now. Will she make this one last attempt of taking her own life or will she live on for him?

I want to hold you and protect you, to keep the questioning people away. To kiss all the pain and make it go away. But I can't, I can't. I'm so useless. I'm so sorry." Kats life has been fucked up from the day she had entered it, she has lost all the people she ever cared about and had her home town striped from her. She vowed to herself not to let anyone close, to not let her heart wander too easily. But that's hard when people start caring for you.
