In the city of, Kishigawa. There has been monster like demons roaming the deep dark woods next to the west of the city. The whole city goes on lock down when those "monsters" attempt to wonder the city. The main character, Takumi Sega loves the mysteries of the deep dark woods, and reads about it alot during his free time. One day, he's left in the woods alone with only just trees around him, then while walking around he meets a Yuokai Fox Demon named, Erika Taiga. They go threw adventures defeating monster like demons, Enemies, and gangs filled with thugs. Takumi and Erika hate each other, but then their hate for each other fades, and they fall in love with one another.
