The year is 2462. The immortal villain Vandal Savage is on the verge of defeat at the hands of the heroes of the 25th century and sends his most trusted lieutenants to 2016 to help his younger self amass symbols of power and reshape the Earth to his whim. However, the man out of time Rip Hunter and his trusty robot companion Skeets disembark to 2016 in their Time-Sphere and recruit 6 heroes capable of stopping Savage's rise to power: Nightwing, Beast Boy, Cyborg, Kid Flash, Raven, and Starfire. They along with Rip Hunter and Skeets must defeat Vandal Savage before he succeeds in accelerating his plans for world domination 446 years early.
