Nora Rhode is human, with a devastating track-record with trust and is scared of what her heart wants. She is trying to figure out her life after it was ruined by a vampire attack on her small town. Nora is beginning to learn to control her abilities in an effort to beat the prophecy, but she soon learns that unless she can trust her heart, she will never control the vixen.
