Jacob's Tale (TWD FanFic)

This story takes place at the same universe as AMC's: The Walking Dead does. It starts at the outbreak of the virus but doesn't follow the main characters from said show. It evolves around Jacob Menendez a 34 year old army vet. He meets the actual characters from the show somewhere in his travels and teams up with them. Some of the events are the same as in the show but include new characters.
