Benjamin Coleman, Principal of Oakland Elementary School in New Orleans, Louisiana, feels no reason to love or to be loved.      Olivia Bennett is in need of a job and stumbles over the ad for a job opening at a small elementary school. With her father's health failing and the threat of losing their small studio apartment, she's banking on this dream of hers. But when her mind constantly travels to a certain somebody, it's difficult for her to keep her thoughts straight.

     Ben and Olivia have to work together to keep the kindergarteners in check. They learn more and more about each other as more opportunities arise. But even then there is so much unknown. One thing that is known, is that principals and teachers cannot be together. No exceptions. How far will they go to try to make this work? How will the know when great opportunity arises? And who knows what the outcome will be?
