Why wasn't I moving anymore? I'd gone still, muddled at what I should do. My eyes swept up off my body and on to the boy, catching a breath in my throat when he smirked in my direction, flicking two fingers two in the air. "Hi," I read from his lips. Helplessly, I become entangled in his soft spoken greeting, taking the first leap to the captivating boy in the corner. I decided he was beautiful enough to become my distraction. The girl from New York

49 parts Complete

Completed✔️ Disclaimer: I wrote this when I was 15 so it is a bit cliché, and many mistakes in the story:) All Brooklyn's life, she's been more of a boy than a girl. She's only ever lived with her single dad and her three older brothers, which means she was bound to grow up more like them. So, when she moved all the way from New York to Tennessee, it wasn't much of a surprise until she met Alex, the one of many popular boys at the high school. Until she realized that Alex decided to make her life a living hell. Well, that's what Brooklyn thought, at least... ___ "He leaned in and put a hand behind my head to kiss me, leaving me frozen and speechless. Almost instinctively, after a moment of processing, I stood on my tippy toes and replaced my fingers in his hair, my other hand on his neck. Butterflies exploded in my stomach, replacing my hunger for food, as he pressed me against a vacant wall. Without a word, he lifted me up while my legs wrapped around his waist, leaning in closer to him, even after there was no more space to fill."
