Silverfang woke up in a strange cave. She doesn't know anything about herself except for her name. During her journey through a vast forest, she falls into a pit and discovers the Dragon Academy. Silverfang is questioned by Goldenscale, the leader of the Academy. She finds out that she is the Chosen One- the only dragon with the power to stop the chaotic force that is slowly destroying the Kingdom of the Elementals. Join Silverfang as she teams up with friends she though she'd never have on a quest to save the world. WARNING: There is violence in this story. If you don't like this kind of stuff, DON'T read it.

Suddenly there was a huge roar. I take a step back covering my ears, my head spins, it is so loud I can't hear myself think. I stand at the mouth of the cave that yawns wide open on the side of a cave. Its big, bigger than a mountain lion bigger than a bear. And I am about to walk into it's cave. But I HAVE to find out what it is. What if there IS a dragon? It will eat me for sure. but I keep going, I just need to make sure it doesn't see me. I walk to this opening as the path split in two edging me across the wall. I will be careful, silent, it will never know I was even here. There is a rocky cliff side and a drop. I look up from my thought and my eyes lock with gleaming golden eyes. I freeze every muscle in my body locks and I can't move. Towering taller than a building stands something I never thought could exist. A dragon. My heart pounded in my ears as my blood ran cold.Concluída

"But, Mayra a dragon took her it couldn't have gotten that far right?". A voice asked her, cowering In the darkness of her stone house. "Of course It will go far its a Dragon!, But at least we know which direction it went, Right?". Mayra asked the voice. "Y-Yes it went Northwest!, But how will we find her?". The voice asked again. "We ask it or them what happened". Mayra said, her gem necklace rested firmly on her neck. "But how do we do that?". The voice questioned while still in the darkness of her house. "Well I found something in my daughters room that might help me". She held up a leather book with small gems like ruby, sapphire and emerald imbedded into it. The title read: Dawns guide to speaking Dragon. Mayra opened the book and a bunch of symbols and markings were written on the pages and on the first page was a translator of Dragon into English. "Who's out there?" One of the men yelled. Of course only silence met them. I remained quiet and waited for the group to start moving again. "Maybe it was just an animal." Someone whispered. The person, who I assumed was the captain of the small squad, signaled for them to walk again. They clearly showed fear as they kept going; brandishing their weapons to guard themselves with. "Two are holding lanterns. I'll tell you when you're too close to them." I heard my friend whisper in my ear. I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive. Her life isn't the kind anyone would want to live but she's managed to survive this long so, what's a few more years?Concluída
