Big arms engulfed me and I stood, paralyzed. "Mine." An inhumane growl left the rock hard chest behind me. "Let me go!" I said wriggling out of his grasp "Make me." he said with a glint of playfulness in his bright silver eyes. "I can't!" I said biting his hands and kicking his legs. He threw me over his shoulder to make it easier, I clawed at his back trying desperately to get him to let me go. "Oh yes baby. Keep doing that!" He moaned jokingly and flipped me so I was bridal style in his arms and he carried me like I was a feather! I weighed 120 pounds! This isn't normal! "Damn, looks like you're staying with me." He carried me off effortlessly further into the woods. I let out a loud scream and screamed again getting louder and louder I kicked and screamed until my voice was raw and I lay limp in his arms, I looked up and the outline of a smirk in the dim lighting is the last thing I saw before I let darkness overtake me.

"I said look at me," he growled as he grabbed my arm from the Gamma in a vice grip. I winced and finally looked up to his stunning grey eyes. 'Mate!' my wolf yipped happily, although she was very weak she got to sound very excited, but I didn't. I didn't want a mate, one that I am putting in danger. Those people said they would find me no matter where I ran to, I couldn't put my mate or his pack in danger. My wolf whimpered knowing it was the truth. "Kitten," my mate purred, before he growled, "mine!" softly as he let go of my arm and lightly touched my cheek, now I felt the sparks firing on my skin. 'Kitten? Was this guy for real?! Did it look like I had whiskers and meowed?' I mentally scolded at him.
