This era of Hogwarts belongs to the Marauders. James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew have been at Hogwarts for six long years, in that time causing more than their fair share of mischief! However, the world outside of Hogwarts grows darker. Voldemort gains power by the day, and even within the school some students appear to be walking down the path to Dark Magic. Can the Marauders stand by or ignore the progressively gathering viciousness within their own school? And now, so close to finishing school altogether, what will they do about their futures?
Harry Potter once asked Sirius and Remus how his father could have bullied Severus Snape, how his mother could have married the boy he saw in Snape's memories. This is the story of James Potter and his friends growing up.
[I, of course, do not own any of these characters. Harry Potter is a trademark of JKRowling and Warnerbros. I just have the pleasure of imagining the Wizarding World once again!]

Epiphany
Lily's tired of the growing grudge that's taken over Hogwarts. She's tired of the Gryffindor-Slytherin rivalry, of the Marauders and their stupid pranks, of the blood prejudice and even of her best friend, Severus. James is tired too. He's grown sick of this game of pretend, where everyone acts as if everything's fine when it's really not. His friend group is drifting apart, his grades are plummeting and now there are all these expectations! Something needs to change this year. Its been two years since the marauders have graduated. James and Lily are married with a baby on the way, and Sirius and Peter are very busy with the Order. Meanwhile, Remus is just trying to survive his transitions in such a volatile time. No one wants to hire a werewolf, and the Order isn't well enough equipped to handle the full moons. Dumbledore offers him a position at the Hogwarts library as an assistant. There he can do research for the Order, as well as spend his moons like he did during his school years. Tessa Downing is a sixth year Hufflepuff. After a summer of chaos and hiding, she's having trouble transitioning back at school. Constantly worried about her muggle parents, Tessa's grades slip and she begins to spend more time at the library. Thankfully the new assistant is willing to help her. [ EDITING] James Potter was a skilled and talented wizard, his name a renowned one amongst Hogwarts students. Many knew him because of his outstanding Quidditch skills, most because of his infatuation with Lily Evans, but everyone knew he was a key member of the infamous Marauders that tormented the castle on a daily basis. Sirius Black. There is no denying that the boy is very charming. To add more to the charm, is the fact that Sirius came from the well known pureblood family. The noble house of Black. To cut a long story short, he's the brightest star of Hogwarts. Sirius Black and (Y/n) (Y/l/n) aren't friends, nevertheless, the two are still familiar with each other. Having been partners with a task before, not to mention one of Sirius' friend, James, is head over heels for Lily Evans, a friend of (Y/n). The two converses with each other occasionally, only not in ways they might like it to be. Though when Remus Lupin befriended (Y/n), the girl found herself caught in an unexpected bond with the rest of the boy's friends. Yet it seems as if (Y/n) has favorites as she and Sirius became much closer to each other, so much so that the rest of the boy's friends took notice of Sirius Black trying his best to shine the brightest even more. ______________________________ I do not own Harry Potter or any of its characters. In 1973, the Marauders enter their third year at Hogwarts and are immediately thrown back into a world of magic and mayhem. James, Sirius, and Peter, under the guidance of Minerva, devise an unorthodox way to help Remus during his transformations, and simultaneously become entangled in Quidditch, new classes, and developing romances. Narcissa and Lucius enter their seventh year, on the brink of adulthood and the responsibilities that come with it. In the aftermath of Andromeda's expulsion from the Black family, Bellatrix becomes more keen on recruiting potential Death Eaters into Voldemort's ranks.
