Angel's only whisper once

"Because I love you, I don't know why you couldn't tell. I thought it was obvious. Guess it was just me and everyone else."

He stood there. Not saying a thing. His lips parted as if he was about to speak. But being the stupid girl I am. I cut him off.

"The same eyes that taught me to love." I paused and sucked in a deep breath. "Taught me I'd never be good enough to be loved back"

I saw him at the bottom of the sidewalk, the view was extraordinary up here.

"Angels can fly" I whispered quietly to myself, and then. I jumped.

"HOPE!" I heard my name ring called from behind but it was to late.
