24 Year -Old Aspen Williams is a worldwide best selling artist who has always been upbeat in the busy city life of New York. She did visit her family in Brighton every Christmas but in her life, it was more about her, her boyfriend Riff and her best friend Zara.
However, one day her parents ring her up and told her that her grandfather is diagnosed with cancer and was growing weaker everyday. The doctors said it won't be long before he goes...
No one else was staying in America besides her Grandmother so she was asked to help take care of her Grandfather in Brooklyn.
Of course she wasn't too willing to do so but she did anyway since Riff and Zara were willing to come along with her.
But all that Aspen saw before is going to change forever...

Recovering from a tragic accident, Aspen Preston is barely floating over the surface. The remains of her father's death haunt her while she tries to avoid the end of her mother's wrath. She tries to uphold the flawless image for the sake of her family, but she's only sinking. River Madden has one goal in life; to go professional. His mind is clouded with determination. He thinks it's the only way to get where he needs, pushing himself as if he's invincible, leaving no space for anything or anyone. Except her. He always finds himself watching the girl he'd never even heard speak. Despite his dedication, he can't help but feel curious about the mask she holds in her eyes. Enthralled enough already, when he speaks to her, River finds his attention drifting from the one thing he could he could truly love.
