Society has split into two distinct social classes; the Grain Conmhaicne, who live from roughly 6:00AM to 6:00PM and the Ré Conmhaicne, who live from roughly 6:00PM to 6:00AM. Rarely do the two meet, except at a holiday known as Tairmtheact, where at the age 21, you can switch societies. Sam Winchester switched 4 years ago from the Ré Conmhaicne, and couldn't have been more happy about the decision; until he meets Gabriel Novak.
