Link was trying hard not to fall asleep but the girl had been right, his eyes slowly started to slide shut. The wind in the leafs and her soft voice called him into a silent trance. His eyes slid shut and he breathing slowed as his mind became calm and he fell asleep.
This is a bad self insert fanfic from around a year ago that I kind of want to finish....

Elyza looked past her village to the land beyond. She saw the Dueling Peaks. She had never left Necluda. Even Kakariko Village seemed far away. Now, looking at it, it didn't seem so far. And... why is it glowing orange? A story that follows the storyline of Botw but we gave Link some friends (my ocs). :) Pretty angsty in places.
