When Penelope Mathews, a bubbly and optimistic young lady from a small village in the Caribbean journeys to Starlight City to further her education in forensic science, she is bombarded with a series of hurdles to cross. One of which is Vincent Carter, who she tries to revert to his old self after a devastating incident concerning the loss of his father changed him forever. In her effort to help Vincent overcome his grief, she too is suffering with her own internal battles.
