Sofia Braxton has and still is going through a stressful life. Her mom is an alcoholic and her parents are divorced. To add to this, she has dyslexia, is bullied at school for this very reason and has to take care of her little brother while her mom is out drinking. But somehow she still has this glimmer of hope for her and her family.
When her birthday comes, she gets a camera and somehow this something changes her life forever.
