One second she's a normal 9 year old girl, and the next she's a teenage girl living in England, owning slaves, and awaiting marriage.

Or is it the other way around?

Larissa has a complicated life. Or, complicated lives. She doesn't have what most people have. She's... different. If you were to come from a past life, and when you awaken, you're in a hospital room undergoing a coma in some other strange world, it can get quite confusing.

Ashlyn is placed under 24 hour surveillance after reported for acting strangely. They believe she is mentally ill because she insists that her name is Larissa Bowen, and that she's supposed to be in England, waiting to be married. 

Ashlyn undergoes several tests, but they can't seem to find anything wrong with her.
