In a small town located in Nevada, a governmental experiment goes wrong. The world is hit with a deadly plague that is decreasing the population at a fast rate. The world has erupted in madness with people dying from the plague or being murdered. But when a 12 year old boy hears word of a cure, he sets off on foot with his 17 year old sister, Allison, back to where the plague was born. Will he and Allison survive to find the cure? Or will they both die on the so called "road to survival"?
