It's been a month since Dragons and Vikings were brought together, now the only thing left to do is train them. Its close to winter in Berk, putting everyone on edge for food. Hiccup, the chiefs son, also the one that brought dragons and Vikings together isn't worried about the snow at all. He's usually the one to take advantage of the snowy weather, going dragon sledding with Astrid and the gang. But when Hiccup, mysteriously falls ill with an unknown sickness, Stoik's worries for his survival in the cold grow. In hopes to cure his only son Stoik sets out to sea to find the right medicine leaving Hiccup in the constant care of Gobber and Astrid. When tragic strikes, and Hiccup is now left on his own, his chances of surviving become small.

"This is Berk. We have fishing, hunting, and charming views of sunsets. The only real problems we have are our enemies; Dragons. They plague the Archipelago like the Scourge of Odin. They took away many of our fellow Viking, including my childhood friend: Hiccup, who was too kind to be taken by anything with a conscience. The other problem that seems more relevant at the moment are the Outcasts. Vikings banished to Outcast Island for their crimes. Their leader - Alvin the Treacherous - wishing for nothing more than Berks destruction. They're a reckless and gullible lot who seem convinced that the fairy tale of the Dragon Master is real. Everyone in the town knew him; the screw up; the fish bone; the freak. No one knows what he was really like; a side only they knew. He was brave, kind and full of wonder. Hiccup did not eat with the Vikings; nor did he fight on their side and he definitely didn't want to die for them. Hiccup was an unknown outcast; hidden by the masks he would hide himself under. He hid and fled knowing no one could ever find out who he was; what he was. The black wings and scales, the green slit eyes, the tail and ears only a dragon could have; they sawed across the sky in silent grace. In the sky he was free, here he was free. XXXXXXXXXXXXX In this story there will be boyxboy if you don't like don't read. (Fun fact Vikings weren't Homophobic because it was unnatural they only wanted their tribe to survive and so would only care if it didn't give children.)
