In the world of the elements, when a child turns eighteen and becomes an adult they must go through what is known as the trials. The trials is a series of tests that will determine what faction they belong to. The four factions are all based on one of the four natural elements of the earth. Fire. Water. Earth. Air. While the world seems at peace and the next batch of testers line up to be put in factions, a feeling of uncertainty begins to wash over some of the participants. Over the years there have been disappearances, and the testers are never seen again. So the question is, where did they all go? This story covers a testers journey as she is placed in her faction and finds out the hard way where everyone has disappeared to.
