In the world of the elements, when a child turns eighteen and becomes an adult they must go through what is known as the trials. The trials is a series of tests that will determine what faction they belong to. The four factions are all based on one of the four natural elements of the earth. Fire. Water. Earth. Air. While the world seems at peace and the next batch of testers line up to be put in factions, a feeling of uncertainty begins to wash over some of the participants. Over the years there have been disappearances, and the testers are never seen again. So the question is, where did they all go? This story covers a testers journey as she is placed in her faction and finds out the hard way where everyone has disappeared to.All Rights Reserved

Earth, water, air and fire are the four known elements that gives balance and harmony to nature. There is also another element but not quite as known as the other four, this element is spirit. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Around the world there are many children graced with a gift to be able to do an element but they would have to learn to control it. If unable to control their element, there will always be destruction following in their paths. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - But it is extremely rare for a child to have more than one element as well as being able to control the fifth element. No one knows who this child is, but once they find out they'll need him/her to save the world. Some of the older element users come up with an idea to make a school for these children so they can learn to control their elements as well as knowing they aren't alone in the world.

This is the story of four talented people who changed the rules, and dealt with the biggest natural chaos of mankind, that mankind never knew.
