Tipped Over

Sometimes, camping trips go just as planned. But for Dwayne Rasmussen, sometimes other measures must be taken.
As a thirteen- year- old Canadian Boy Scout and the second youngest of his twelve siblings, Dwayne has a lot to prove to himself and to his peers, especially when it turns out that there are no troop leaders going with the group of boys on their summer 1948 campout. Trying to not seem the fool, he wants so badly to be an adult, and his chance may just come when disaster strikes... and the plans get tipped over- literally.
*Based on a true story, told to me by my grandfather about his boyhood.
