"I hope you were paying attention during the meeting... Kai." Donovan said and it'll be wrong if I said the way he said my name didn't affect me. I turned glaring at them both.

"What do you two want from me?"

"How about a thank you for saving your life?" Cameron frowned.

"I never asked you two for help, everything was under control. You didn't have to kill him..." I mumbled that last part.

"Yes we did, he posed a threat to what is ours and for that he shall die." Donovan said raising an eyebrow begging me to snap. Nicole wasn't that only one with a short fuse. One way to light mine, was treating me like an item. Another, disrespecting my son...

"Excuse me?" I said.

"I don't repeat myself... Kai."

"Oh, because I was wondering if you'll dare saying that again. I am no one's property." I said turning to leave. Just then, Cameron appeared before me blocking my way. I gasped and fought as he gripped my wrists firmly and pinned them to the sides of my head on the table. My legs hanging off the edge as I continued kicking and fight to get free.

Cameron leaned in real close to where we were inches apart. His eyes were darker yet his face held a chilling smirked as he went to my ear.

"You are today." He whispered and my heart started beating faster and faster.
