Mystic Falls, Virginia 1903, the 20th century. It's the year 1903; where jazz is in its prime, everything is in black and white, the first teddy bear was created, and the Alice in Wonderland movie was released.

Sounds great right? Ok, so now imagine you're in a 1903 prison world with the one person you despise the most. That's exactly what Bonnie is going through. She's stuck with Kai, her worst nightmare. But can her worst nightmare turn into the best dream ever?

A story in which instead of going with Elena and Damon back to the present, she stays behind with Kai.

Will they ever escape the prison world? Will Kai's new emotions help surmount his past mistakes? Will they become friends or stay enemies? Who will die?
