Anastasia Johnson is selected to finish a spy mission that her father was killed in process of completing. She hesitates, but decides to go after being bribed by the head of the agency. She joins the "Hitler Youth" branch of the Nazi party as part of her cover in Germany, and is appointed as an assassin. While on her mission, she discovers the truth about what happens to German Jews and the truth about her father's death. She is later sent to a concentration camp where she meets James, a Romani (Gypsy) inmate and offers to help him gain his freedom in exchange for information about the camps and ghettos.
